Readings with annotations are due before class on Wednesday of each week. All readings, videos, and webpages are available on Perusall, accessible through the course’s Canvas page. Please refer to the Readings on Perusall prompt for instructions. You must read on Perusall to get credit.

  1. Browe: The online library guide created for this course. Make sure to click through the tabs on the left side of the screen. NOTE: This is not on Perusall. You just have to visit the website by clicking on the link.

  2. Read/look through: US industry (NAICS) report 51913B “Internet publishing and broadcasting” (2022) (IBIS World). You don’t have to read this whole thing word-for-word. But skim through to get a sense of what an industry report looks like and what kind of data it can offer you, look at the graphics, and read a few sections that jump out as interesting to you. I adjusted the Perusall metrics to account for this.
  3. Read “Competitor analysis: what is it and how do you conduct one” (Mailchimp resources)
